MORGAN ISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES VISION STATEMENT:

The Board of Trustees of Morgan Independent School District envisions:

Facilities with adequate space to freely conduct effective learning activities, in a safe environment, for all students, maintained in such a manner as to promote pride among the students, staff, and community.

Administrators, faculty, and staff who genuinely care about the well being of each student,who possess adequate knowledge to effectively perform their assigned duties, and hold the desire to continually improve for the benefit of the students.

Classrooms containing the equipment necessary for the effective delivery of instruction and the tools to allow each student maximum opportunity to learn and succeed.

And, classrooms and hallways teeming with students filled with pride, joy, self-respect, tolerance, and the desire to make strides each day toward becoming a valuable contributor to society by means of continuous improvement through learning.

 

 

MORGAN I.S.D. BOARD OF TRUSTEES MISSION STATEMENT:

The Board of Trustees will work in harmony with the staff, administrators, and the public to encourage:

  • positive attitudes from all stakeholders,
  • student and teacher dedication to District and Campus Goals,
  • self motivation,
  • and an environment conducive to confidence building, in order to create a successful educational setting and instill a sense of School pride in all stakeholders.

CAMPUS GOALS:

The Board of Trustees will provide the resources necessary to:

  • Create a safe and productive learning environment
  • Attract and retain a highly qualified and productive administration and staff
  • Increase parent and community involvement in District activities
  • Enhance communication between the School and the Community
  • Provide a quality educational environment that leads to greater learning and achievement for all students

IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM: 

Enhance the current curriculum and testing program and procedures to create a learning environment that:

  • encourages scholastic enthusiasm,
  • relates learning to life,
  • and fosters a love for learning that lays the groundwork for life long self improvement for all students.
