We wanted to share a great opportunity from the The University of Texas at Arlington for students entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade who may be considering college after high school.
UTA’s Emerging Mavericks program is hosting a FREE summer program called C.O.R.E. Camp (Connecting Opportunities and Resources through Education). This 3-day camp helps students learn about the transition from high school to college through activities focused on resources, community building, and preparing for the future.
Camp Dates:
• July 14–16, 2026
• July 21–23, 2026
• July 28–30, 2026
The camps will take place on the UTA campus, and transportation assistance may be available.
This program is especially designed to support students who may have experienced homelessness, foster care, or other challenges, but any eligible student interested in learning more about college resources is encouraged to explore the opportunity.
